Consumer rights can be defined as the freedom and privilege to access reliable telecommunications services and quality products within a safe, secured and information rich environment, free of all forms of unfair practices. TRR is developing relevant policies to safeguard consumer rights of the people of Vanuatu.

Consumer Responsibilities

Consumer responsibilities are positive actions, attitudes and behaviours that should be practiced while accessing and using telecommunications services and products, to ensure sensitivity to individuals, groups, relevant authorities and the physical surroundings are upheld. TRR is developing relevant policies to assist the people of Vanuatu in taking responsibility for themselves and their actions, those around them and the country at large in their proper use of telecommunications services and products.
